I hate griefers. Really, really hate them. I get very little time for gaming, and if somebody ruins it I'm peeved.
But sometimes they're really funny.

But Smoth do is superior to about everybody else! Nobody in Spring is as a good modder! (at least when it comes to make tons of pro-quality clean models (well there's spiked and a few others but they aren't that much here)).Sleksa wrote:I meant the general human thinking of counting yourself to be superior to everyone around you. Smoth's post was just the perfect example of it.
So you think democracy is a bad thing?popularitycracy is the last thing we need.
That's why I won't even play FPS on a Xbox, or any popular FPS.smoth wrote:I teabag all the time! get over it or I am on your head!
It is these internet users who drive away all the new user. You think they teach important what's what only because the only people that manage to stay are the people who grow a troll skin themselves.Lolsquad_Steven wrote:NO, but the trollers and hackers, it is these internet users who teach the newer users what's what and who's who
It's funny the first time. But over and over and only that, is not.Pxtl wrote:But sometimes they're really funny.
Anyway yeah that article made me realise that indeed, the "jerk will be jerk, so only way out is to become a jerk" stance isn't true. And that instead game developper should look for way for automoderation. Naming people "moderators" and granting them delete/kick/ban superpower is not the solution. Instead game devs should find way to automatise moderation (there can be less resent against automated sentences), or to design self-regulating mechanism, and, like the article says, not design voting tool for an ideal world where everybody can type complex command in the midst of a fight, but instead take into account the psychol... uh... why do I bother typing that?
Slesk's a troll, permaban him!!!
