It installed automatically with installer and disabled my existing association with sdz file without asking.
Now instead of opening directly in total commander it tries to move the file. Any idea how to fix?

right click, open with > check the box that says make this program the default, and choose your favorite zip program.
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
Well problem is that doesnt work..
I dont know how was it associtated. I simply entered it as another folder in total commander.
If I associate it with zip it opens as zip folder, if I associate it with total commander it spawns new commander instance..
I could of course reinstall windows but instead spring installer should contain uninstall for that or at least ask before installing archivemover.

Re: How to uninstall archivemover
Did you try to open a directory, select Extras and directoy options and then the data types flag (note I use a german windows so I have no idea how the original terms are but you should know what I mean) and delete any assignment for the specific file types?
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
The installer does ask, you must have checked "easy content installer."
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
I got it working now using some hackish way. Its not as it used to be because i dont know what original association was, but does similar thing.
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
AFAIK uninstall should restore original associations, since it also makes a backup of the original ones at install. However maybe that gets borked if you install Spring multiple times.
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
you can try to remove the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.sd7
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
Either registry or Folder Options -> File Types -> SDZ/SD7, should be in there.
By the way, assigning SD7 to the MultiArc packer plugin for TC makes SD7s browseable. Repacking doesn't work properly, though, it always puts stuff in the root.

I don't know about "restore" but it does unassociate from anything it previously associated with.Tobi wrote:AFAIK uninstall should restore original associations, since it also makes a backup of the original ones at install. However maybe that gets borked if you install Spring multiple times.
Re: How to uninstall archivemover
Oh I forgot, you need to remove the associations. Actually TC doesn't care about the extension as it looks the file header up.
