Falcrum - those ships are great, but the independent barrels just looks whacky.

KDR: I love that thing, very spore-ish. Good definition of muscles on the texture, makes it much more believable.

Good use of specularity here could really work nicely to give the skin a slightly moist sheen. I notice that they put this on the headcrabs in Halflife in episode 1+2 (not the original HL2).

Not realy. I will also do land forces. There is a MLRS already. Maybe I'll make some armor now or tomorow...

lol bob, those are very nice, but you're going to need to do them far lower poly, and lower res texture if you want to see them with any regularity in Spring...

IW infantry are ~700 polies, with 256*256 textures.

No, Bismarck had 4 main turrets and a lot more of smaller ones. My ship is much smaller, more like a heavy cruiser than a battleship (but still it's gigantic when compared to the other units...)

Is that from Counterstrike?

@Tablo: you've got some unneeded verts on the back of that plane

Falcrum, as a designer, I probably wouldn't put that wobble in. Sure it's realistic, but it's also not at all what people expect (especially in a screenshot), so it looks wonky and wrong. Even then it's really only there momentarily after the kickback.

Tablo, you obviously have modelling talent, but without the ability to UV or texture, I'm worried that much of your time and effort might be wasted. Why not attach yourself to one of the existing projects who have texturers on-board so that you can help them out? Or alternatively, teach yourself to texture, it's a much sought-after ability in this community!

Thanks for the commend!
I know how to uv and texture, it just takes too much time for me. For others it is very easy, I mean easier. First I want to have a solid base before asking for help. As for joining an other team it doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Careful with those build pics, the flag is way too colorful to see the silhouette at a glance. Try putting 50% opacity white over the flag to gain some contrast to the black silhouette. The player must be able to spot the build pic at a glance!

bob: Looks pretty good, and nice texture work there!
You might want to check his body proportions though, the lower body looks a wee bit too large.

TabloMaxos: your models are quite ok, just need to work on your poly-usage efficiency as I see quite abit of unnecessary polies here and there.

Update: added teamcolour and misc stuff, crits wanted else i'll call it done and finish the other tex and channels.

@bob: I'd be more worried about his hands actually. That pose doesn't not look comfortable.

@Wolf: Awesome! Awesome-awesome-awesome-awesome!

Give the shoulders more teamcolor IMO, since they're by far the most visible part of the model from the average overhead view.

needs more solid team color and the texture still looks monochromatic. Are you using that as reflective or is it supposed to be gray?

wolf that looks amazing but i agree with gnome the shoulder should have alot of team color (maybe even full) cos the spherebot in CA is small and probably gonna be hard to distinguish with such small areas of team color on the sides.

Apart from that awesome!! :P are you adding a reflective layer ?
