moar feeds!

Eh, this is for the site, not the game.

We need RSS Feeds!
We don't need them badly, but they do simplify things by alot.
Their also easy to implement, just find one of the many mods for phpbb, and do the copy-paste job.

Though, should some kind soul decide to do this, please, there are many mods, choose a good one. There are ones, that only create one feed, that shows all the posts across the whole forum. Then there are ones, that do just that, but also provide feeds for each different category, and forum, and even each topic. And some of the good ones, even provide more feeds, such as for new posts by user, or by search, so, you can have a feed, to see what new posts your fav person has made, or see all new posts that match a common search query of yours.

Now, i haven't seen a mod that does that all, but I did see a few of them, that combined together, does that all. And while its not required for anyone todo this, or everything i described, it'd be nice to get as much of it as possible.

You can try the #news channel in the lobby, Melbot reports all post on the forum shortly after they are made. Commitbot reports all the commits made in the spring SVN.

Its not as good as a customizable RSS feed in your reader, and you have to keep the lobby open, but it's something. for now.
