TAS Client Installation

Whenever I install Spring, and allow the installer to download mods and maps, it isn't able to download them. It just stays as "Connecting", then it skips and skips. I've tried downloading the mods and the OTA content separately, but I still run into some issues.

It's been difficult making a good game out of this, so what should I do?

It's just says "Connecting..."

This is because http://www.unknown-files.net/ is down although i can ping it.

This actually doesn't have anything to do with UF, but rather the fact that I (was) running the redirect script for the installer on my home machine, and then my IP changed after some thunderstorm induced downtime. We only intended the redirect to run on my machine temporarily while the spring server was moved, however fnordia and I both forgot it was running. I have notified him and this problem will hopefully be fixed soon. For now, you can download the files directly from the mirrors:
