Hey, I know we do it too, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Seriously, it's not so bad using original IP, realistically, 99% of what you're competing with contains penguins.

I supposed technically modern/classic warfare mods, Fiber and Nanoblobs and stuff are original, right?

It depends on what content they use. If you even use a line of TA coding you're d00med. No icons, cursors, sounds, lines of code, anything.

I think Space Hulk was actually using images from the old game and games workshop's other products so I think think that was the source of the C&D.

And they were using their game design, their copyrighted names, characters, and concepts. IP is a broad river, especially for a company like Games Workshop, which pretty much exists to create more IP these days. I read their prospectus once, a couple of years ago, and it was rather interesting how little of their revenue is from their core figure and game products...

I'm so glad I downloaded this soon. I beg for GW to please, PLEASE either A) Let them continue making this fantastic game or at least B) Re-release the boxed set!

used to play with some rl friends, we realised how insanely OP wood elves are (only faster race are skaven, and wood elves *never* drop a pass) and went back to necromunda
