Well, I'm a gropo, so most of my vehicle stuff is me riding shotgun while someone who can actually drive gets me there.
Or at least I would be if I played the game, but unfortunately, I don't cause I sorta don't own it, kinda <_<
I have the demo though!

Damn, people have no decency... Valve worked on TF2 for 9 years, and not even 6 months that it's out, they are already copying it!

Re: Battlefield Heroes
Maby it's just me... but I'm kinda hoping the whole "full leveling up" system will also have a side effect of not letting retards get in the driver seat of vehicles...
Re: Battlefield Heroes
doubt it
DICE has never been one to control who uses vehicles. Hell the only team locked vehicle they've released commercially is the Goliath APC in Northern strike. One of the reasons i play Project Reality for BF2 is that they have the kit system for vehicles.
Team locked vehicles really the only thing i would really want in 2142. Playing one of the tight infantry maps and having the enemy jack your walker is a pain. acutally i want that, and the AAS system from PR is another thing. That way you don't have one or two people running around behind you capping all your main bases...
Oh and maybe a flamethrower for the assault class
EDIT: oh and forb at the beginning 2142 is a pain since all you have is basic stuff. But once you have some ranks under your belt it isn't as bad. Make sure you stick to a certain class when spending your points, dropping em around willy-nilly makes you less effective. Join squads as well so you get field upgrades so you can test out the next level of stuff.

Re: Battlefield Heroes
iirc 2142 didn't have grenades, which was a major pain in the ass
Otherwise it was really fun

Did you hear that J5mello... 2142 doesnt have Grenades.. WOOO..
Party at Camp Gibralter 64 people server... WOOO..
Comp1337.. you fail
2142 has grenades, it has alot of grenades, it has:
Frag Grenade
EMP Grenade
Smoke Grenade
Radar Grenade
Anti Motion Mine Grenade
Is that enough grenades for ya.. you have to unlock them, but the first like 10 ranks are no problem to get...

Re: Battlefield Heroes
Anyone else here able to perform airshow-level acrobatics in Desert Combat helicopters? Don't know how realistic it was really but it was really cool to be able to swoop down in arc and wind up going like 100 miles an hour sideways just as you cross a mountain pass, fire a bunch of rockets through it killing all the enemy tanks, and swoop out the other side before they realize they were getting shot at. Yeah... if I had a helicopter I think I'd probably just spend all day flying sideways and trying to run people over with my landing gear. That was my second-favourite trick.
I think, in general, BF2 just dumbed down everything for the people who thought 1942 was too hard, ie, soccer moms. "HAY GUNS DON'T SHOOT STRAIT!" And now all the standard rifles are sniper-accurate, it's impossible to crash a helicopter or anything else really unless you're retarded... Didn't even bother trying 2142.

Re: Battlefield Heroes
I say 2142 Battlefield is the best of the battlefield series. DICE should make Battlefield Heros more modern instead of making WWII based because modern weapons and gears seems to have more popularity. Anyway, for those who play 2142 Battlefield, my name is CookieStrike, add me if you wish.

I don't know what's wrong with second signature, but go to 2142-stats.com to check my full profile.
