Truncated links...
...need to get fixed/removed or be disabled by default (Do not automatically parse URLs), if that's possible.
Quoting them, hitting the preview button or that someone else posted before you message will all break them by taking the truncated URL instead of the original one. More of an issue than a gain IMO.

Re: Truncated links...
I agree that this is fail.
Re: Truncated links...
Oh so it's the preview that does it... I was wondering about that. Certainly is a PITA.
Re: Truncated links...
I'll bump this weekly until it's been taken care of!

Re: Truncated links...
Another problem with the forums is that it doesn't appear to be allowing sessional cookies. If I don't check the 'remember me' box, I cannot browse the Spring forums, as it will forget my login after the next forward click. I have lost a number of posts because of this, and I have had it occur to me on more then 4 different computers, so the problem is not restricted to my end.

Re: Truncated links...
You know that the point is to automatically turn the feature off because most people aren't smart enough to put their URLs in URL tags and then hit the submit button without double checking their posts.
