I would much like this feature. It could really spice up FFA games.

Is it possible? From what I've heard, yes.

You wouldn't be able to do true allying afaik, but you could lua a ceasefire gadget.

Also u need to be able to have vassals that pay you tribute (% of their eco) and you are in a cease fire with them for say 5min.
how are u gonna stop 2 sides in a cease fire to build turrets on each other territory so that when the cease fire ends they wont take out that advanced fusion with their DD they just built near it.
If you have cease fires that has to be sorted somehow and i dont see how..

How do you deal with it? Simple. A ceasefire is not an alliance. You tell them to gtfo, and then start shooting your llts at them, and then, if they stay more, you bring in half your army and turn off the ceasefire.

so how does cease fire function?Your units wont automaticly shoot his units?and youll have to force attack? or will you be able to mark units to become outside of the agreements to attack suspicious units?
if you can still attack the units and builings of the guy you have a cease fire with it will be the same as me and you agreeiing to not attack each other using the ingame chat.

It would be that your units would not automatically shoot his. It's not the same as agreeing in chat, because with a real ceasefire you have the ability to have a combined army that doesn't kill itself, and if you want you can build a combined front line.

Funny scenarios could arise, since you would be in a ceasefire with someone but still not see their units as with true allies.

You'd have cloaked spies in the other guy's base, trying to see what he's up to, making sure he won't backstab you, attempting to analyze how well his economy is running. Kind of like countries in real life.

A cloaked spy is discovered and executed! A serious warning and threat is sent to the team which he belongs to. Don't mess with us again, lest we break the ceasefire and turn our guns upon you once again.

That would be awesome!

Well, you can do the exact same thing to him, or you could cancel the ceasefire, or use a reclaim order on whatever it is he's building or a variety of things really...
NOTE: Above suggestions to be enacted before said DD is completed...
