For God's people

Post by munch »

I've just finished reading the Journal of the Unknown
Prophet. If you're serious about God, please read this book.

There are some amazing words, in particular warnings
about the spiritual war we're in and what's coming (or is
already here), and how to fight. Please please read this.

You can buy it direct here: http://www.unknownprophet.com/
Or from Amazon here (US): http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846
or here (UK):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 65-2217403

The only other book I'd put into this category of importance
is The Vision by Rick Joyner:
US http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... 54-2158320
UKhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 65-2217403

, which again please please read if you haven't already,
prayerfully, and alone with God.

Shalom

Why do I feel like this was addressed to me? heh

No offense, but Amazon puts it in the 'Jesus Christ' category, and the author is described as having taken a "call to the Body of Christ to work in the area of creative evangelism" ? I tend to get gun-shy in that area.

That said I did take a look at the first page on Amazon, found the writing style a bit odd.

Personally the image of God that wants a spiritual war doesn't fit in my diety structure... Unfortunately nobody really asked me ;)

I know you are encouraging others to read the book, but could you perhaps give us a little cliffs-notes version?

Not all of us are willing to go and purchase a religious book. Bibles are free in a lot of places and are therefore exempt from those problems, for example in my school in the UK we get given a small red bible from the gideons. Most people loose them ro arent bothered and dont accept one though......

Really I tend to think that those books are more of a philosophy book than a religion. Afterral religion is a philosophy that is organised and rather than arriving at it yourself you're usually taught it as if it where a science like maths or an english lesson etc, this is what god says this is what god says we should aspire to, this si what will happen when we die, this is what happened when this etc.... Along with a hefty dose of faith and mystical air that religions give, sorta like that odd feeling when you walk into a place of worship like a church or a mosque.

However if everybody where able to follow the philosophy they outlined or tried to follow, then this world would be a much better place. For example Chairman Mao's little red book sounds quite revolutionary and aimed at a better life. That wasnt necessarily what happened in china though was it? Chairman Mao and his government have gone, replaced by a communist government that's embracing capitolism and racing ahead to surpass the wealth of the UK tot ake the title as the fourht richest country in the world and is set to surpass even the US by 2028.

To this end I suggest you read Sun Tzu The Art of War for a good way of calmly winning everythign while maintaining a calm, serene positive mindset that benefits allsave those who strive against you. Another Taoist text that I suggest would eb LaoTzu Tao te ching, the way of the Tau. It leads to a much more fullfilled life filled with contentment, to the ends that you would eb content with living with nothing and nobody because you know eitherway that you'll flow to the right conclusions and be at peace. However Taoist texts arent to eb taken literally. They are metaphoric, abstract. A prominent example of people taking thigns literally would eb how Lao Tzu was worshipped as a god several hudnred years later, then suddenly an entire pantheon fo many gods arose and the interpretation of the way fo the Tau was twisted so it was contradicted.

Sorry for the great monologue on religion and philosophy. Most religions preach the same thigns, islam, judaism, sihk, bhuddist, hindu, they all teach us to be at peace, and to be kind and thoughtful of others. I'm nto aware of any large organized religion that preaches destruction other than fanatical islam, which isnt islam but a twisted form that twists the koran to suite a longterm grudge against the west.

One time a Jehovah Witness was on a street corner near my house. He handed me a bible and laughed in a rather strained and forced way, telling me it was just like in the Passion of the Christ, which had just come out at the time. He was so enthused, in a strained kind of way, that I really didn├óÔé¼Ôäót have the heart to tell him that I was an Atheist. So i took the bible and gave it to my (Grandparents who are both Christian├óÔé¼Ôäós. :|

tbh i think that this sort of blatant commercialing is not right. IMO christianity is between u and god with the bible and church as intermediataries. i used to be a christian and thats my opinion. like it or lump it i STILL think its wrong. if gods got something to tell u he should not make u buy some lamo book.
i like u munch but i don't like what u r doing.

The vatican is wealthy, it's a corruption thing, all money. But still at least it's a book and not a hair from chirsts head or a spec of dust an apostle sat on.
