Mutators and the new packaging

Hey, I was getting back into my batch-changing tool and I was noticing that I have two copies of BA. If I wanted to make a mutator for BA, does that mean I have to choose between the installer version or the seperately packaged one as a source? Or has the "sources" thing in the Modinfo changed too?
