Commands fail if any one of selected units can't do it

Post by munch »

E.g. you drag a select area for a bunch of kbots so you can send 'em to meet an incoming attack. Unfortunately there is a mine or something that can't take move orders in the middle of the group. Now none of your k-bots will move just because you also selected a non-moveable unit.

Similar thing with attacking IIRC.

What you want is for individual units to reject orders they can't follow, but the ones that can carry out the orders to go ahead and do so.

Cheers

PS yes I also saw the "unit moving into the top left corner of the map" problem once. Only ever seen it happen with Arm adv k-bot lab though. Fortunately I owned the top left corner so it wasn't too much of a problem!

About the top-left bug thing, If im not mistaken the top-left corner of the map would position 0,0. (i cant check atm as this comp dont have spring). That to me sounds like a move order where someone forgot to fill in the correct details.

And I havnt checked out the non-movable object bug, but it does sound annoying as all hell. Hope it can be fixed soon.

I also got the same error while setting some units to guard another unit.
