There you go.

They are a bit confusing. First off, the barrel is 4-sided, but the breach at the back is incredibly round.

Overall, it looks like an enormous Browning M2 Machinegun, except it looks like it'd fire 500mm shells at 500rpm.

Make the barrel 6 or 8 sided, as well as the breach, and look into how real guns are stationed on static mounts so you get an idea of how to mount the gun -- that right there doesn't look very plausible.

Otherwise, nice attempt, fairly nice (if inconsistent) attention to detail. I look forward to seeing more in the future.

First you've got to upload the pictures to the internet (via a site like Photobucket, or, like you did, attach them to forums) and then get the link to said picture, and put {img}{/img} tags around it (except use [ and ] and not { and })

ie {img}http://www.yeehaw.com/picture.jpg{/img}

..except with [ and ] in place of { and }...

If you're going to use photobucket then there is a button to generate the img tags for your selected pictures with thumbnails and all. Quite handy.

Yeah it renders nicely but your models don't look big, the cannon looks like a regular sized gun with an odd mounting.

I like it (the rocket/missle launcher thingy). only problem is the tubes inside the missile launcher are too high-polly. they dont need to be any more than 6-sided. Same goes for any cylidrical shape for that matter.

Some times a few more sides is good for very large cylinders.

Well yeah, thats true, I should've considered that, buuutt 95% of the time 6 sides is enough. Only time I've ever used more is on a particularly large wheel on a tank or vehicle or some such that might look silly with 6 sides (not to mention woul clip through treads)

No no.. I'm talking about the number of faces which make up each single cylinder. The ones you're using for your tubes and for the breech on the first model you showed us appear to have upwards of 20-30 faces, which make up the cylinder. What I/we are saying is that you do not need any more than a 6-sided cylinder.

Someone post a picture or something to better explain it.
