A community website is different from a normal website; it includes the site visitors in site development. If the website is alluring the right candidates the future of the website will be bright. On the other hand, the site will do no good for the site owner if he is not concerned about the visitors. From community Website Development the site owner has to take enough measures to recognize potent customers. Community site owner has to explain about his expectations with the website to the site developer. If marketing is the hidden objective with the website, the site owner has to be a bit more careful. He tries to market his products through the website; even any simple wrong decision from the site owner├óÔé¼Ôäós side can reprimand the growth of the website.
After site creation the whole responsibility about the website comes over the site owner. He should make the conversation through the website clear, direct and frequent. When a communication website is used for marketing, the site owner keeps a considerable count of human labor investment away from marketing. So the site has to make up that loss also. This factor necessitates the requirement of a healthy and friendly communication flow between the site owner and the site visitor.

Re: Community Website- Concerns about Visitors
This is purely a non-profit organization. We don't have customers, we don't have profit margins, we don't market our product through our website (at least it's primarily a word of mouth market with trial and exploration periods usually taking place mostly in the lobby client rather than our site).
If you're offering advice, advice away, our ears are always open for good advice from people who know what they are talking about. If you're offering site design, ultimately you wouldn't be the first, but if your work is up to our quality standards we'd be glad to use it, but like any other contributor here we don't pay anything for work done. If you're offering something else, chances are we're not shopping for it

If you call spam advice, then yes, he is offering advice. Though much less advice than those ads for cialis and porn we get over at the S44 forums...SwiftSpear wrote:If you're offering advice

ok, yes, it's most likely spam, and if that's the case there will never be a response and the thread will die. That being said, my time isn't so valuable I can't give someone an opportunity to contribute even if they are 99% likely to be a spam bot.Felix the Cat wrote:If you call spam advice, then yes, he is offering advice. Re: Community Website- Concerns about Visitors

If a bot can post text... then what makes you think it can't post BB code ??
Most forums use the same code for images/bold/links/etc.
Re: Community Website- Concerns about Visitors
Well before the PHPBB upgrade, new users couldn't post links or images until they had 5 posts. This mod was lost with the update, of course. And yeah I think this is a bot; OP can pm one of us if it is not.
