I've already think about the replicating cells, and I'm not sure...It sounds interesting, but I think this should be restricted to unmorphed cells.
We could also give the cells the ability to reclaim/resurrect wreckages.

Concerning mobile mexes/bases, it could be interesting, but I think it would give too much mobility, due to we could have the morphing/unmorphing mobile bases.

What!?!

Do you mean that hax mod thing I spent 2 hours on? No, its nothing like this, mine was a shitty little "you have one unit that builds itself over and over, has an auto-firing short range weapon and you defeat your opponent simply by building more units faster than he"

This sounds much better.

Thanks for your relevant contribution to this awesome idea.

Why cant factories be morphed? Worst case scenario its all luaed and glued together with moving animated morphs that look cooler.

Because currently a factory can't take orders like that, it'll relay them to the units it makes instead.
