Hi guys I made this today and was wondering if any body wants/needs this model. I can texture it first if any body wants it. I don't have a idea how to do the guns though so just post your thoughts on that and it would be nice. Thanks.

why in almost all of your screenshots is the model displayed half with visible lines and half not?

and there is a 'random wip' thread for posting... well... random works in progress...

looks ok. but you really need to get a handle on your use of polygons.

It's ownly 416 polies and it's not a spam unit. You can ownly see half the lines because of my grafics card I think. I geuss it could have gone in the random wip thread but for some reason I didn't.

I think the big criticism here is that your use of pollies seems to be somewhat unnecessary. There are several areas where you could accomplish the same visual effect for about half the pollies.

In terms of the design, to be honest, I don't think it has much going for it. It doesn't really have any interesting elements or form to it. You've had more interesting stuff before.

Can I suggest trying to model existing things, such as a WWII tank or aircraft or something? It will really help you get a grasp on your modelling techinques and use of polygons. Maybe try one of the WWII tanks then compare it to one of Flozi's models for S44, which are typically pretty well done.

Tons of wasted polys on the front and bad geometry on the sides makes for a very meh model, even though I think the shape overall is a cool factor.

I did not use the smoth key, this model was a test to see if I could not use the smoth key and do it all by hand.

I used the smoth fuction only once, and all I got was a siege tank.

Now, smooth on the other hand is a pretty useful tool. I use it all the time.

I want a link to this model so mah mod has a lag side.

pertty cool overall idea of it. but its cool nice work could use a little bit more. but overall its good.
