I had issues while playing with AIs in World Domination. Whenever the AI commander was attacked the game would crash. So now I switch to the AI team at the beginning of the game (by typing first .cheat, and then .team 1, in the chat), build some basic economy/factories, and then self destruct the AIs command vehicle (and then switch back by typing .team 0).
Dunno if that might be it, but it might worth a shot.

The Pentium M is built similar to the Pentium D, I have absolutely no tolerance for increasing the game speed, it lags to hell, and seems to almost crash. See if NOT increasing the gamespeed fixes it, along with updating your maps, mods, and AIs.

ok i think i've figured out the problem in the end it turned out to be a corupted video driver i simply reinstalled the video drivers and i just played a complete hour long game which was imposable with the stability the way it was before so it seems to be fixed

Topeg, this is the year 2000 and 7.

The current mininum specifications for Spring are:

Operating System: Windows 2000, and most linux versions
CPU: 2ghz or higher, name, brand, and l2 cache won't matter that much.
RAM: At least 768mb, most people have 1gb, which is 1024mb.
Video: nVidia 5 series or better, current gen ati

You meet the first 2 only I believe, 133mhz ram is slow, 256mb, I'm surprised you can boot XP. Expandable to 512mb, I recommend you overhaul that whole computer, e-machine sells a cheap pc for $300 at wal-mart, and it uses current gen technology, just swap in your cpu, and it should run great. Not much else I can recommend.

You do not have enough ram, your video card is old, and there is little room for improvement...

Where did you get those specs from? :?
And you sound like silly in this post. Spring ran just fine under a similar ram situation for me, with 512MB that went largely unused, and 256 is plenty for XP. In my experience that will leave more than 200MB for programs. Are you thinking about Vista?
You really seem to have an odd perception of computer power, that you think this can't run XP but that your 'sleeper PC' will be even close to an alienware.
Not to mention telling someone with a bug to upgrade...

Please don't state things as fact when you have no clue what you're talking about. It misleads people.
