Forum software upgraded

Post by Fnordia »

The forum software has been upgraded to phpBB3. I've imported the old database and done an initial tweaking of the layout to be similar to the old one. Please let me know if you notice any problems or things that could be improved.

The font isn't terrible, but everything but message text needs a font size boost by a few points. User names, post subjects above posts, all the text at the top and bottom for navigating the forum looks like 10 point and could use a bump to 12.

The following text is perfect :
[start of said text]

[/end of said text]

You can't argue with that.

change the font to original pls, i hate this current font... :/

also post count should be hided... or we start having postcount++ threads even more

"joined" stat shouldnt have clock time in it :D

change default font color to black, same with quotes, or it mixes with links... and change links underlined, or were they even underlined at old version? if they werent, then just change link color as they were in old version.... kinda mixes with normal text atm.

i can fix the layout, so big images wont fuck up the layout anymore, but only if you have done it with two (or more?) includes (top / bottom) ? very easy to fix, i think i have already fixed version of it when i once got pissed off about it.

could that online/offline button be moved at the bottom of that left space where is avatar and those texts?

On firefox the very top and bottom of the viewtopic.php pages look like crap (the UI is floating transparent over the background). That issue isn't present in pages like posting.php

Edit: This only seems to be present in this thread.

Like the new, agree we need to find a way to make the forum not break widthwise Hurray... also I liked the old font better but we used to get complaints about it too.

Font is too small everywhere IMHO. Other than that it's cool.

http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtop ... &start=660

demonstrates that the url and img tags don't work together.

weird thing is they work fine here:
