The future of the community news section
Since noone has used it for about a month now, I was thinking about if something should be done to change that, or if I should perhaps remove it? I still think that the idea of allowing map and mod makers etc to post news about things on the front page is good though.. But maybe there is a better way to organize it. Suggestions anyone?
Uhm, how does it work? Oh, nevermind, just found:

Well, If i had my way i'd post each time i made a new map, but i thought that would be unfair, if not a little trvial, so i was thinking of just posting when there are several new maps up, possibly listing the latest maps that you must have (so not just my one's).
Other wise id push more important things of the new's.

cmon zwzsg, post that new ota mod there...
even when id ont play it, its worth mentioning.
has anyone notticed that... in caustic map.. almost no ota unit can clib a hill?
(with exception of the spider).
(in xta kbots can climb all but the almost vertical wall, and tanks can climb some hills (the smaller slopes), but not most. (with one tank as the exception..))

An no XTA units either. Just played a 3v3 on that caustic map, and my vehicles kept being blocked, unable to climb hills.
Uhm, sorry, I just broke the "Community news". At first I typed my news, then previwed saved and edited till it looked good in the wiki, then I clicked the update link, but the images, which were at the top, weren't understood as images but instead it showed the url, and so on the frontpage it made a long line that took much of the frontpage, so I re-edited and pushed the image down the news, and this time when I updated, the community news window was back to its regular dimension, but empty.

Thx. Could you tell me what was wrong and how you fixed it? Oh I think I get it. It seem that if I use a <br> within the first 150 characters, then it wipes out the whole "community new" window.
Not return, no picture, no link, a small corner and only 150 character makes it very hard to type a decent looking new.

Ok I figured it truncates your entry down to the first sentence, it will accept html tags in the first sentence, as it stands now If I remove the carriage returns it shows the start of the wiki link to the picture, btu that'll have to change to url tags so I'll try that later. And I've uploaded the images to the wiki instead of fileuniverse.
