You know you could try being a bit more descriptive... Yes, I've played the demo of that game but I don't think anyone else did.

I don't know what Blood & Magic is. I googled some screenshots of it.

At first glance it looks the very opposite of what would make a good Spring mod. Lots of swords, RPG character sheets, ugly low res drawn cutscene still picture, old tiled 2D graphics.

Then I clicked another link, and got lost, because it reads: "Blood Magic becomes Dawn of Magic". I played dawn of magic demo as well, and it's not at all like the first Blood & Magic link I googled, which at least at some RTS-looking screen.

tactical no one hates what your mod is about, people just get annoyed when someone even hints towards the "Make this idea for me cause i think its cool" stance

again a fantasy mod would be interesting (and a hell of a lot more doable now) just don't expect other people to start doing it cause nearly all the content creators are busy with their own projects..

TLDR: nothing wrong with idea but if you want it you gotta do it yourself
