I workout and play football on a regular basis. I am also impervious to people being hardasses, though I am generally not nearly as playful and happy-go-lucky as I used to be.

*AF peers into the giant snipawolf bubble. In amongst the noxious gases one can see a silhouette and a faint voice can be heard through the mist. Out of nowhere a football hits the side of the bubble wall and rebounds back into the bubble as furry creatures hold the bubble wall together with more mucus*

I generally stay out of discussions on moderation around here, because frankly I know that almost no one would likemy idea of a good forum.

I can't resist pointing out the irony of this particular post.

I wasn't talking about any one ego, I meant egos.

And I think RelicNews is a good example of a forum still being pretty poor despite lots of good rules, because of the general idiocy of the population. At least in the game forums, I haven't read anywhere else ;\

Not to offend you all, but is there any other useful or relevant commentary you would like to share with the moderation staff, or a particular member of it?

Meh.

Trust me, there are communities worse than this one. Not many, but there are.

Every notable large community is worse than this one.

'Better' communities are nearly always more simple than this community is. Any time you mix a developer and a fan community into the same entity conflict is inevitable. We've done remarkably considering the topology of what this project is.
