Spring freezes then "initializing unitsync.dll"

Post by manored »

Then we start the client, a small window opens and various things aparear being loaded there before the lobby opens. For some reason (I didnt made any changes to spring after the last time it worked) It now freezes in the "initializing unitsync.dll" part (Computer says that spring is not responding). Anybody knows what it might be and how can I solve this?

Sorry to bring back this 2 week old topic; however I recently have been having the same problem.

When I try to start up the lobby client, it gets stuck on "initializing unitsync.dll".

Does anyone know why this is caused or how to fix it?

Too many maps, too many mods, etc.

Delete ones you don't play.

Spring had worked perfectly fine with far more maps and mods than I currently have. I will backup my maps and reinstall i guess.

Alternatively, you can just let unitsync work overnight and then it will be fine in subsequent spring launches. The new version will fix this issue.
