Anyways, I don't see any reason why not... smoth actually indicated he might release the content to the public domain so it would make sense to plan ahead... after all a bunch of people keep coming into "I want to make a mod" threads and saying "You should plan ahead before you do anything." We're just planning ahead before we CAN do anything?
For clarification Gnome and I made many of the units and hopefully I will get a few from rattle.
The intent was a release under:
CC: Attribution
(so the contributors are not forgotten)
GPL
(so spring could include the content for moding fodder)
I didn't really consider PD as it would mean that people's contributions may be at a future date, forgotten. I think TD may well be something that could exemplify what the community can be.
I also have no problems and encourage thoughts and discussions about the use of said content in projects. As I said, if the project gets to a fairly complete state I can include it into a new TD release. I would love to see that day come.
