Lazyness kills
Some people are too lazy to stop their factories for a while and make builders/mobile nanos and instead just make all their econ around the nanoturrets... result: They get all their econ into the same spot and make you need to bomb just one or 2 of the buildings to ruin then... they die of lazyness :)

Advanced fusions are something like 30% more efficient than Fusions. Thats a lot, especially for late game MM economy. If you build them with mobile cons, or at the limit of your nanotowers range, they dont actually take out very much when they die. Just make sure you dont pack anything around them. In addition, they survive a non-direct nuke hit, and usually leave wreckage even when nuked. That leaving wreckage is important, and allows you to rebuild a lot more easily with a 6k metal pile.
They're worth it, but only in ultra-late-game. You should usually have won the game before you need them.

I think 30% more efficiency doesnt covers up for the space you have to leave empty around then to keep then from taking something else if they die.
Most times then I am in a porc position I dont have so much space, and things so far away from a each other are trouble for AA and antinuke to protect...

I made an advanced fusion once on ds dry under the south rock, and a teammate had lots of aa, berthas and econ on the rock. Then it got bombed and my allied's stuff died. So i made t1 kbot lab, spammed rezbots and rezzed it. My teammate rebuilt all the stuff on the rock...then my advanced fusion got bombed a second time. My ally really loved me for the result :D
But if you have then in diferent spots, the enemy will need to do more bombing runs, since he haves to destroy each of then instead of a single. Beside, what good is to have your base in one piece if your economy is on pieces? :)TradeMark wrote:Actually its the only way you should build them :D if you put them everywhere, your base has nothing left when they explode.ginekolog wrote:yes we all love adv fus stacked on one spot. Its magnet for my bombers and berthas.Btu i guess after carnage people learn.
Anyway, you shouldnt build then unleash you have enough room in your base to leave the area around em empty so they dont chain explode, and anyway I prefer smaller fusions since they are a whole lot easier to protect, and by the time you start to think in that decision is also the time where the majority of weapons that can avoid the front and hit the base aparear... (Tech2 bombers, Berthas, nukes)

You can even make a hole in your ground and build an underwater building in there, good luck to anyone trying to hit that.Saktoth wrote:Technically you can just build your whole base on top of a spire so tall that planes cant even fly up there- they just ram into the wall. Or you can build it so far underground that its outside the range of most any unit, as long as you dont hit the water table.
Seriously. You can do this.
Do you mean 'such' features ivory? Make them. Thats what im saying, in CA, you can just make them.
Not really. You cant terraform underwater so you're prettymuch limited to a shallow pool. You could set some explosions off in there to dig it deeper though (arty for example) but even that is limited as weapons explode on the surface of the water.KDR_11k wrote:You can even make a hole in your ground and build an underwater building in there, good luck to anyone trying to hit that.
