5 dropped on load then game lagged to a halt in 2-3 seconds from start so remake with no specs :(

Who was host?

Most broadband lines don't have enough upload time to handle 30 ingame. That being said, each player adds a multiplier to how much upload time is needed for every person in game, so large games with many specs will still lag like small games with many specs would not..

I've seen a game with no players get 22 spectators before.

Does spring even support more than 16? I'd expect a horrible crash if the game started at all... MAX_TEAMS being 17 and stuff.

or was that a shared game...?

In my speedball game there was just 12 players, rest was specs.
