Yeah KDR and I talked; I'm going to rewrite the stupid thing this weekend, and if I don't then he'll probably make a little patch just for enable/disable or such.
And hopefully setting a mod default should be easy with the new lua parser, as I didn't get anywhere with the old code.

So, bonusShieldEnabled=0 will result in flat damage, and skip that segment entirely?

Yup, it should do just that.

I wonder if we can weaponize it.

AF, it is time you stepped down.

As the plenipotentiary in possession of the technology needed to have Free Time, I have pushed through a World Treaty requiring all other peoples wishing to develop Free Time to prove that they are not proliferating the weaponized version. Luckily for me, this has been hailed as a major step towards World Peace, instead of a limitation on your rights to develop Free Time.

I expect, therefore, that all of you will develop Free Time on your own, or sold to you by my authorized vendors who just happen to know all the rules for "peacefully" developing Free Time, since they're all lawyers who used to work for Argh... er, I mean, my "free peoples' dictatorship where the proletariat smiles" ... in about 20 years. If you don't get married

Could you get them to get rid of daylight savings time? It's pretty stupid IMO. :P

Given the gravity of your complaint, I'll contact the Peoples' Mandatory Happiness Committee and make sure that, from now on, this change is tweaked to occur in the middle of the day from now on, so that you mysteriously lose your lunch-hours ;)

Tested this feature. BonusShield=0 seems to be working as advertised. If you're maintaining a *A mod, I suggest using this with great care- it definitely changes game-balance.

Woo wrapped up the testing and submitted!
How would you like to remove bonusshield from your entire mod with only one line? Or make it actually follow a unit's turning? Now you can!

*full instructions coming soon to a wiki near you
