bad host would disconnect other players to but its only me and it happened like over 100 times for now and as i sad its only afther 10 mins and some sec i never have those things before 10 mins and afther 11 mins
ofc i had those kind of things when host crashed or laged but then everyone has it and i had those kind of things when i laged or lost connection but i can see it when the connection is down or something is wrong but on those cases are when my connection is working 100% i have no lost packets or other problems with my connection
my connection was unstable few weeks ago but now its fully working im not loosing packets i got low pings all the time and i have no problem with it
the wierd thing that it crashes afther 10 mins tells me its not a coincidentce it has happened so many times alredy and it tells me its not connection related

This tells me it actually is related to you connection.the wierd thing that it crashes afther 10 mins tells me its not a coincidentce it has happened so many times alredy and it tells me its not connection related
Maybe its some router / firewall weirdness. U should try some firmware / firewall updates and see if it helps...
guys stop telling me thats its the foult of the connection.... its not and im 100% sure of it
i had an 2 os before was standard XP sp2 (32bit) other was XP x64 sp1 (64bit) and ive runed few games on the 32 bit one and no crash on any of them and then in the same day i run a game in the other one 10 mins 2 sec a nd crash then another one was normal then again 10 mins and some sec and crash when i had enought i played spring on the xp 32 but i didnt have any stuff instaled there so was lauching it when i wanted to play spring
now ive got XP x64 sp2 and the problem is the same
i knew this thread will end defending my self that its not the fucking connection.... or you dont believe me or you believe in 100x coincidence that my connection made it that laged out afther 10 mins game
im predicting some overheating or some ddrams problems i dont know thats why im asking for ideas...
but the most reasonable cause is bugs in the game probably related with xp x64 os...
ill just try to mb download all the needed maps again maybe those files are corupted (ive done format c and reinstalation of os also new fresh instalation of spring just added some files from the old ones like mods maps and some key settings and gui)

wow
Please post your specifications, blublub. I have a $300 pc, and a decent cable connection, and DSL on my somewhat better pc. I have never lagged out of a game on my end, and even saying that, never lagged.
Maybe only use one firewall, and turn off anti-virus. And for the sake of it, post some pc specifications. If it's not your connection, it has to be your pc.blublub wrote: router how ? im not loosing connection from any other stuff im not even loosing any packets in that time

AMD athlon x64 3000++ (2.0ghz)
Ati Radeon x1950pro agp
512x2 dual channel ddr
MB: AsRock A8X
460W ps
os windows x64
no fw and no anti virus and no other background programs
it is probably a reason of connection break but what does it
it doesnt look like it is the connection itself
btw sorry for the earlier post Erom is right its gone already if it is this what i think

With map crashes it can only be 1 of a very few things.LordMatt wrote:lol for FA every crash is caused by negative sun values.
Crash withouts seeing anything at start:
Prolly a bad feature map
People drop randomly, or in bunches together:
Only negative sun values cause this.
See lordmatt, if the map actually loads and a game starts, there are very very few things that can be to blame. You fix the sun direction, you fix the problems. You guys wouldn't remember this, but Pathways of Destruction ring a bell?
He fixed all these in the X versions. Centerrock still has it though.Forboding Angel wrote:Delta siege (and most of icexuicks maps) have negative sun directions. THis causes crashes for 30% of people in games (and it's generally very consistent). No one knows why, and the devs have never been able to figure it out, but it is a fact.
Try playing on a different map.
Please use fullstops blub. It is very hard to read what you are saying. Please be more respectful of those trying to help you, or they wont help you.
The problem with particles growing weird in size is a connection problem- you get the same thing with long lag bursts or when you unplug your modem etc and this is only ever a connection problem. There is no crash at all on your end, it isnt a Spring crashing, it is Spring losing connection to the host.
Since other players keep playing, it cannot be the hosts problem, and must be your end. It might be anything- some software or setting on your PC or router, it might be an ISP cutoff thing if you are on a really crappy ISP that cuts you off after 10 minutes of high traffic, it might be anything. But it is not spring crashing.
The reason it appears on DSD is probably due to the duration of average DSD games (IE more than 10 minutes).
