Cool, at least someone tried it out. I kinda of thought the demo would be more anticipated since it's ex-Blizzard people making the game..

Well, it's more like crap singleplayer and choice between a free subscription mode - in which case you're effectively very, very gimped..... or a paid subscription which nets you a ton of bonuses - even extra game content :P.

My initial impression from a few hours in the demo is "meh". Mildly entertaining, but not going to rush out and buy it. I guess i'll wait and see...

As for the subscription thing, it's not that bad in the context of it more or less being an MMO in multiplayer. I can see it quickly becoming required as the developers start making powerful "gifts" to subscribers, despite what they say about item power.

Has it got LAN support?

Not as such no. For security reasons we can't allow people to run their own servers for the game - otherwise all sorts of exploits could come into the main online game. There will be a free way to play with just your friends but it will require joining an Internet server.

so they got diablo made it futuristic in a real world setting kept the demons added the worst part of an mmo and took out the most fun out of diablo which was lan play

sounds errr... great ;P plus the gameplay looks awkward especially the melee
