About the next release
About the next release
For the next release of Spring, we will most likely include an updated version of the lobby client that connects to the PhoenixWorx (PW) server instead of the current one. PhoenixWorx is a a gaming service developed for the original Total Annihilation, and they have created a server for Spring as well. Since the current server has stability issues, we think it would be a good idea to move over there.
One downside is that you will have to register a new account on the PW server to be able to connect. If you want to get a head start, the account registration page can be found here. The current version of the PW lobby can be found here for those who would like to try it out before the updated version is released. The current server will stay up until we release the next official Spring version at least though.

what color is spring taken? green?
I already have registered!
is there going to be some galaxy for spring?
or some other kind of struggle?
something...
also, fobbah seems to have dropped all efforts in his standalone/LAN client.. :/
edit: fobbah client had one more release i didnt know about.
it seems it works better now

This is nice news!
Delegating some of the administrative effort into people that are willing and who have knowledge and experience.
They've been running a server/servers for a long time (as far as i know!?) and, so, must certainly have the experience to handle things well enough.
