I would prefer if the new away system would be completely seperated from the old one.. So it only gets active if you say that you're away..

By default it tells people that I'm "away from the computer" if I'm alt-tabbed for a minute.. That's simply not true..

That's what I was asking, if it was inactivity for the whole computer or just if the client had been inactive. If possible it should measure inactivity for the whole computer. As the current version says I'm away if I've just been on another screen.

Also the same auto-scroll behaviour for the battle window would be nice.. :)

- Away time set to 5min
- Away status set if : the mouse cursor is not moving, you are not typing anything on tasclient (and just tasclient for now) and you don't click or move your mouse wheel
- Added a message box when Loading minimap crash to avoid application crash
- battlechat autoscroll updated

Satirik do you think you could add copy and paste to the right click menus in the chat log and box where you type in?

Can't you use a hook dll to see if there's any input from input devices such as keyboards, mice, joypads etc?

I'd like to be able to remain idle in client while doing other things with my computer, so is the mouse detection restricted to while the focus is on the application, and if so, can you make it so?

Well that's what I do normally, however I may only have one hand free and be frantically trying to get something copied out of the logview to do some mod related stuffs. It would help me on a lot of occasions I think, dunno if it matters to anyone else.

Satirik wrote:the latest tasclient.exe (corresponding to the svn) will be available through http://www.climachine.com/spring/TASClient.7z if you want an exe to let the bot add it automaticaly to the setup just ask
The TASClient.exe extracted from the archive at that URL now gets grabbed automatically by buildbot.

IOW, the test installers always contain latest TASClient.exe

Got prompted to download the updated client, date stamps look ok (as in today) but title bar reports that its version 0.35 but file version from the proprieties tab reports 0.3.0.83.

Anyway of checking the client version elsewhere?

edit: appears to have the right click/copy thing

TASClient can not load the new replay format yet, any plans for implementing this?

Look at tools/DemoDumper for an example how to read the new replay format. You can get an example by running a test build of Spring.

And can you re-add the feature to ignore Spring version when connecting?
I guess you accidentally erased it when overwriting the SVN sources with your sources.

It was a debug feature (in Ctrl+shift+f6 dialog I think).

So ppl who know what they are doing can e.g. join main server but play SVN Spring or other way round.
