Just because they make every little story canon doesn't mean you can make up fluff whenever you want.

Yes but because there's so many of them you can easily fool people. "This? Oh this was in, erm, the Rise of the Second Emperor, um, yeah...". "Oh, goodies! It's okay rabid fan-people! It's canon!"

Yay for Expanded Universe!

Anyway fuck off of our thread!

For the purposes of gameplay, I don't see there being much of a difference between HE and shrapnel. Besides, we can't get too deep into realism here. I mean, if we wanted to be totally realistic, we'd also factor in HEAT, shaped-charge warheads, HVAP, smoke rounds, air-burst ground artillery, submunitions, etc...

I actually say screw the Tiger, make me the Italians.

Of course, nobody, myself included, really wants the Italians ingame.

Untrue, I want Italians.

And Romanians, Hungarians, Bulgarians, Croatians, Slovakians, Finns, Vichy French, Japanese, Chinese, Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Free French, Yugoslavian Partisans (aka Tito), and more.

Most of those (except for the Japanese, Italians, French and Hungarians) will mostly have imported vehicles anyway. Not many countries could build tanks worthy of that name, you know... Only thing different will be the infantry (and most of those will use imported weapons anyway).

And Romanians
Indistinguishable from German forces.
, Hungarians,
Same.
Bulgarians, Croatians, Slovakians, Finns,
Same, though either Soviet or German shit.
Vichy French
They didnt fight, their vehicles were confiscated by the Germans, the only thing they had was a small Navy which was blown up
, Japanese,
Die
Chinese,
they had like... nothing. just riflemen. millions of them.
Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Free French
Just British with different voices, hardly worth it!

,
Yugoslavian Partisans (aka Tito)
Why the fuck do you think we have Partisans in there!!!

Actually, Spiked, your use of hyperbole is unwarranted. Where you say indistinguishable from, you should be saying "are similar to" - if you were to do so, you'd probably be correct.

A lot of these powers derived equipment from multiple peers and attempted to field their own. Some of them had distinct strengths which none of the major powers exhibited, though they had much more pronounced weaknesses.

the french for example had superior armour early in the war, but this was offset by their chronic lack of testes

Romanians & Hungarians were distinguished from Germans like this:
-They made some of their own tanks;
-They made retreat at very bad times into a fine art.
