That is because you live in the UKtombom wrote:I have never seen a black person inside a KFC.rattle wrote:It's captain shock absorber!
tombom: When ever you walk past a KFC how many black and how many white people do you see inside?

Also, I have black friends therefore I am not racist.
(logical fallacies ftw)
Really I'm not racist though, making jokes about racial stereotypes != racism. Hawai'i's most popular comedian, Frank DeLima, has routines that are almost entirely ethnic jokes about every ethnicity in Hawai'i (and Hawai'i has a lot).
We'll know that racism is dead when we can joke with each other about ethnicity and race and not have to worry about being thought offensive or hate-filled.
(I like how Firefox thinks the proper spelling of Hawai'i is misspelled and wants to correct it to the improper "Hawaii".)
In the south, the chicken places are packed with, run by and filled with black people. It is very akward going to one as a white person because you get a lot of ugly looks(LIKE I'VE NO RIGHT TO SUM CHIKIN!) very annoying because we all like us some fried chicken, it is a southern thing, like grits.tombom wrote:I have never seen a black person inside a KFC.
Either way, poking fun at racial stereotypes is funny. For example, one summer I worked at mcdonalds and there was a chicken promotion. None of the commercials featured white people. The main commercial was a black male, in his mid 20s he was dreaming of playing basketball to rap music and eating chicken(or something like that) and he woke up and went to mcdonalds. You may not believe me but we sold out of chicken to black clients only. None of the other people ordered the chicken.
Stereotypes are funny sometimes, what actually pisses me off is people who scream racism. See I come from an upper-middle to upper class town. We did not have a lot of racism, most people were just people and I regarded the racists as random crazies. However, coming to college and being to new orleans I get sick of it. I am hated because I am white, my girlfriend is harassed because she is white. young black me come to class and loudly call each other nigga(which is close enough to the other word IMO) but flip out if a white person tells them anything. Not really cool because I never thought any different of black people until I came to college and started getting all of their missguided hate.
IN FACT, yesterday I had to watch a spike lee movie(do the right thing) and that movie had me sad but we were talking about that movie in film critisim and after class me and a normal black guy from new orleans were talking about how silly it was. He told me how he tells people calling each other nigga brings them down and how it is not bad. I thought cool, people from new orleans can be above this. As soon as we were outside publicly his friends rolled up in an suv and holla-d yo, nigga get your b***ch *ss over here! To which he didn't even flinch.
So untill you have people with their pants around their knees in your college courses. When you cannot go out without black people treating you like you some how wronged them. When your girlfriend has has several black men try to pull her into their car. When you cannot go somewhere because you are WHITE.. you can talk about RACSIM.
get bent.
