MOD CREATOR PROGRAMS??

Post by molixx81 »

Hello to all!
i'm an old player of original TA and his units of 3ds parts...
i remember a small program, called "TA Conflict Crusher" that solve all the conflict problem of installed units.
there is a problems similar to TA Conflict Crusher for TA Spring easy to use??
it would be helpful for MOD MAKER in TA spring.

there are no conflicts, spring is designed a bit better(and differently) than OTA was.

the only major problems are caused when you try to port OTA units into a Spring mod, some of the scrpting is interpreted slightly differently, and can have some strange results.

Yep, Spring has no id conflicts, all ids are reassigned internally at load time. Mod-defined ids are stored separately for identification in scripts.

In soviet russia, spring ogles YOU !

Yes it's the same for weapons. Spring doesn't need unit or weapon names to differentiate weapons/units from each other, that's what the internal IDs are for.
