Not even proper tab support is going to make me go back to use the Explorer instead of TC.

Total Commander (commercial). Got tabs since ages.

Alright I tried this one on XP and uh... it's not very comfortable at all.
First, applying the detail layout for all folders never seems to work for me (explorer issue), so I have to change the view options for every folder I browse to from Icons to Details manually.

Second, I haven't found a hotkey yet to open up a new tab or simply put a highlighted folder in a new tab. There are visual issues in IE too (black bar not getting drawn over) but that's minor. At least it uninstalls like a charm unlike so many other apps.

Yes, but it unlike all explorer replacements which has have tabs since ages, does not suffer from integration issues. Tabs aren't needed for explorer though imo, that's what the taskbar is for.

I've uninstalled it form ym PC. Moments f unexplained slowness and UI quirks there're no options for ahk.

What I'd really like is Konqueror for windows.

3.11 filemanager -> Windows Commander -> Total Commander. 8)

One of the most usefull additions it's got is a multi replace tool with regex support.

I don't know how you guys lived without total commander, it's so obvious that everyone should have it that it didn't even occur to me that some people don't.

Do you know what's weird? After uninstalling this I've got tabs in IE7. Was it supposed to have built in tab support? Hasn't had any before. The plugin is gone, I would have had to activate it seperately anyways.

Hmm... it appeared in the options out of nowhere too, wasn't there before.

Well, I read about it and was wondering why there were none. Double checked the options before. Oh well... gotta admit, popups in a tab is decent.
