Halo is one of those rare FPS games i really liked. The story was good, the gameplay was good on both single player and multiplayer. There werent many 16 player games for consoles when halo came out mind you. Also even now, there arent many games where you can pretty much totally change the gametype you are playing, Halo gives a ton of choices to make your own gametypes, not just "ok we have ffa, ctf, and team deathmatch"
oh ok. halo3 is is shit . . . because its shit?Jsut wanted to drop by and say halo 3 is shit compared to its hype.
Plus you have to be a real sucker to buy a standard game for 60 bucks.Microsoft are using the name to raise prices.Just comes to show there are many suckers in the world cause people are buying it by the millions..
We all remember Red vs. Blue in here, don't we?
Seems like the show's still going on, even though it went downhill after the first season.

TS and halo are fundamentally different games though. Nothing can really compare to the speed and adrenaline involved in TS, but even most crack addict FPS games tend to be a little more strategic, halo no exception.Neuralize wrote:hello. my name is garrett, i've had many incredible adrenaline rushes from playing the specialists, then I tried to play halo and found it very gay. the end

6 hours gameplay isn't worth $70, regardless of any other considerations. Multiplayer's nice of course, but without the possibility of mods I'd have hard time sticking with it for very long.
Consider how elaborate and well-designed Half-Life 1/2/ep1 are. The levels are just massive. If Halo 3 is "all about the multiplayer", there'd better be a couple hundred maps and alternate gameplay modes available, since that's the only way to make them equivalent. I heard that there were like 15 maps or something in H3? For the amount of time it was worked on, and with the emphasis being so strongly on multiplayer, it's insulting to our intelligence to claim that the developers were really trying their best.
