especially as such bottles are as likely as not to be full of cigarette butts (in my house anyway)

once i woke up at about midday and found a open beer that said "IMPORTED FROM JAPAN" and had all these japanese symbols on it.

It was kind of cold and not flat at all so i drank it and i have no idea how it got there or how it was still cold and fizzy

Can't blame me for trying.

If you need to escape from reality, there are better ways.

Like games of Balanced Annihilation.

You are, of course, aware that you can actually play BA* and drink AT THE SAME TIME!

Why the fuck everyone always says alcohol means escaping from reality?

OMG. Its not about that. Not at all. (well, maybe for some noobs it is for that).

I can! (as i said before, i get superpowers from alcohol  ).

I agree, beer sucks, too much drinking, you cant drink more than 10 beers at a day (actually i cant even drink half a beer, it tastes that bad), and dont even get drunk from it. Waste of time (and pukes).
Just buy liqueurs or strong wines, or just pure booze.

Not so much escaping reality, it kinda removes the norms of holding back speech and such from your mind and you can just do whatever and say things you wouldnt normally i suppose. ultimate social pwnage?

Removing inhibitions. Fair enough, altering reality rather than escaping!

Neddie if you don't drink then that's your perogative, but don't condem others for doing so, it's none of your damn business.

I'm not condemning. Who ever said escaping from reality or altering reality was bad?

 As if it is such a terrible thing that Neddie condemns drinking and doesn't like it because it removes inhibitions and dulls the senses.

I don't happen to find that sort of thing to be enjoyable either. I don't like the idea of not being able to walk in a straight line. I don't think I'd be able to do anything that I find to be fun or cool like yoga, descent singing, or play videogames if I were drunk.

*imagines Panda sitting in a circle with friends in the "sunrise position" while passing around a blunt and singing "Kum Bah Yah"*

Drinking does not automatically make you drunk. I don't even know where you got this idea. If you drink one beer, for all intents and purposes it doesn't affect you unless you are a SUPER lightweight. After two perhaps you are slightly more talkative.

Personally I've never been unable to walk in a straight line from drinking only beer. It takes hard liquor to do that to me.
