Right now, Ensiferum - Tears, but most of the time, lots and lotsa Power Metal bands (Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, Kamelot, Hammerfall, Fairyland,....). Lately, often mixed with whatever sweet song caught my attention on Sol FM. When I'm extremely tired and about to FALAM, I use Speed Metal to stay awake. And Gothic metal such as Leave's Eyes to wake me up. Though I used to use poprock / rock steady / ska for that purpose. And happy hard core to put me to sleep. Recently I discovered that although I generally dislike indus, there's certain genre of electro-indus that I like : L'âme immortelle, Tristesse de la lune (lol at those german misusing french in their attempt to sound gothier), In Strict Confidence, Arsch Dolls, Ayria, ...

As a rule, I despise people who only play the very same thing again and again, and so I have a broad range of stuff I like and listen to regularly: Turbonegro (self claimed death punk), Maximum Kouette (french ska-rock) Hole (grunge), [see if you can find their name yourself, I think there's only one] (Bossa nova punk covers), Bloodflowerz (german goth with chick), Garbage (afaik they're their own genre), MyPollux (french pop-core they say), Noisy Fate/Vegastar, Nada Surf, Delirium, New Model Army (some sort of powerful rock, almost metallish), Sheryl Crow, Cardigans (but only the grand turismo album), Pet Shop Boys (disco synthpop?). Though I'd rather name the lesser knowns, I also like and play some more widely bands, either french (Indochine, Jean Jacques Goldman) or international (Madonna, Natalie Imbruglia) (and more, tastelessier, higher sellers, that I don't even dare mention for fear of being lynched). But this doesn't mean I'll listen to anything. There's definitively bands or even whole genre I can't stand for more than a few seconds.

As for concert, I'd say about 2/3 of metal & goth ones, but with a broader ranger than the metal I listen to (for instance I wouln't cross my mind to play Cannibal Corpse when alone in my room). And the rest spread as many other genre, lotsa of Ska because they have friendly crowds, but also french or american well-known pop singers.

I only just got into them recently too, despite having some mp3s for ages (Neverland, heartbeats, one hit) for some time. They really are fantastic! 8)

I've listened to:

Papoose - 50 Shots:

"I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired son, I hope change gets here before the revolution comes!"

Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol. 1:
Image
"You motherf*ckers will never get me to stop blastin', you're better off asking Ariel Sharon for compassion!"

That's about it.

Mother's Health is my current New Favorite Song. And as usual, the people in the office are listening to shit, so I'm going to go plug in my pod and listen to it RIGHT NOW.
