Eh, doubtful - if that is indeed a real score, the problem is with - as annoying as I find it - me. I may amend that I stopped playing in the earlier days of my carpal, so I might not have been able to perform to the peak - but I remember quite distinctly that nobody I could find could make more than one move past level 20 or so. I ended up capping and stopping in the mid-twenty levels (28?) since it seemed impossible to keep scoring full Tetris when the pieces dropped in less than a fourth of a second.
It seems than my inability to run 160+ APM has pushed me out of another genre of games. I can't explain how unhappy that makes me.
come to think of it do you guys know hardly any females that play rts? i think multitasking a ton of shit at once tends to be a trait that males are better at.

I know a few, but they usually go further into the twitch-verse down the road to FPS.
Have you read the multitasking studies? They were run by monkeys who don't understand the scientific method. Seriously, that study in large degrades the reputation of the scientific validity of the psychological field. It got huge publicity in the media before it was peer reviewed, and when it was peer reviewed essentially what happened we would call "flamed to hell".
i dunno what specific studies everyone is talking about, im just making an observation that females are extremely under-represented in rts (and yes i know they are in games already, but even more so in rts)
there's plenty of things that men and women differ at in terms of thinking - spacial awareness for instance. my claims about multitasking are completely unfounded so take them with a big nice grain of salt pls
I told him that psychology would disagree with him, I didn't elaborate as to my views. I personally have observed no difference in multi-tasking capability among the sexes, and I have no interest in researching such formally.
