A good and light game to play in situations like that is "N, the way of the ninja"... 500 levels + a incountable amount of user made levels + a website where people submit user made levels at a rate of around 1 level ever 10 seconds... :)

I can't play N on my Vista. :cry:

Oh, and I wouldn't call it light... You can't ever save your game, so if you spend an hour on an especially tough level, you can't stop until you beat the episode...

But you are only going to waste one hour in one level if you are a really bad ninja! (Like me ;) )

Beyond a certain point in DX, the gameboy simply can't process input fast enough for you to react with any effectiveness. I suppose if you abstracted the controls out to fresh contact circuits... but otherwise, you get about one movement before the quad hits the pile.
