The final began with a short game on Altair, arm v arm, with Shamon(Moonlighter) taking the win by absorbing the early attacked then countering to stoneage s0lv3.
Then s0lv3 picked The Cold Place for another all arm encounter, and showed Shamon the reason he picked this map. s0lve raided well around both sides of the lake and when Shamon sent his last big attack into a field of LLT, the game was all but over.
Shamon picked Geyser Plains for the deciding game in this tense final. In the opening minutes the two players jabbed here and there, picking off enemy expansion and Shamon seemed to be getting the better of it. When s0lv3 decided to send out his commander to try regain control, it was quickly surrounded by flash and the Rising Stars champion was crowned, congrats to Shamon!
