Also note that Naval and Air units are exponentially more important for the British than say the Soviets. I know you're all aware of this, but until Naval is implemented, the British are going to be hobbling a little. That said, Naval is a hard beast - the Germans have localized superiority, the British have the most need for power, and the Americans suffer and initial loss but need the Sea just to join the battle.

Alright, I think we're ready to pass this onto testers. Anyone interested drop a line here.

Not necessarily pintle. Nemo is out for the next little bit and he was the one most knowledgable about testers. So if you think we know you're a tester, we probably don't! So speak up :P

If I recall, Nemo tapped myself, Snoob, Nixa and maybe three others.

It is pretty good. Missing content, as usual, like corpses.

There's nothing particular to concentrate on. Obviously, any game-stopping bugs, missing content, missing features/sounds etc.

Also, if you're hard-pressed to actually find something, you can make general balancing suggestions.

Okay, so far...

Russian sniper lacks a weapon
US cannot be chosen as a side when their units are still there (gamedata mishap or on purpose?)
Russian commissar does sod all - doesn't build anything or have a weapon
ZiS2 and 3 have wierd textures
transported artillery guns don't turn with the transport, they always face in one direction
Russian infantry lack corpses
Couple of Russian buildpics missing

Not tested Brits yet

Tried the Brits out

-The cromwell spams invalid cob piece errors when firing. It may also have crashed Spring (this may have been due to my computer being crap. Can't tell)

Need to do more testing still

the animation on some of the units is incredible, the german halftrack where you can see numerous small wheels turning seperately in the tracks is a joy to watch.

Main thing that annoyed me is that tanks are still not that much to be reckoned with. a few infantry machineguns can wean down a tank, which shouldnt happen.
this is just an idea, but since you have the pinning system in place, how hard would it be to have a tank commander for each tank? it would just mean that when unpinned the tank can see full distance, but if you use rifles etc on a tank the commander buttons up and the tank has next to no vision until the commander pops up again? that would give a use to MGs vs tanks while not resulting in tanks being killed by infantry weapons.
or you could just put tags on vehicles to MGs dont open fire on anything but lightly armoured stuff like halftracks.

graphically, it would be nice to make a firing infantry weapon cause a ciricle of light, and the impact of the round to do the same. could also make a rifle firing flare for riflemen, and improve the flag taking weapon to somthing that looks more meaningful in terms of WW2.
also, the explosion used for stuff like howitzers is pretty awful, just a plume of brown particles which vanishes, then suddenly reappears in diffrent form and half size to float down at half the speed. i would be happy to pimp that up if you havnt already got plans to do so.

also, still not happy with britan having the "good guys" feel with high HP elite units. just my oppinions. good job on mod so far

MGs shouldn't damage a tank at all;

Which MG and which 'tank'?
