F**k Vista

Post by Dragon45 »

I'm booting into Ubuntu from now on. I'm really tired of dealing with Vista's crap. File browser that is randomly slow as hell, random user access controls, uninstalled stuff that isnt staying uninstalled...

The only apps I use in a given day are

IDLE (its what i do all my dev work on)
Spring (ned mah gaem)
Pidgin (chat with babes)
Firefox (wank)

and all of these/those have linux versions. Asta-la-vista, Vista.

I'm downloading the latest Ubuntu ISO as I speak. My only concern is that I hope the wireless connection works, otherwise everything should be fine.

Here goes!

I built my new computer planning to install XP but eery time I got to a certain point in the installation it would blue-screen.

Then I put an old hdd with XP on it and tried booting to that and it bluescreened during loading.

So Vista was my only option and its runs fine 8)

Hmm...Well if you arent that intrested in playing many games, then I think linux is a great system to use. I guess theres XP for the rest of us...Or Vista. But thats your loss.
Also ive heard windows 2000 isn't bad, but Ive never tried it.
