AF your UV map needs a little by vertex editing, it streches here and there, but alas! you modeled it, UV'd it, AND textured it...
that, took me like, umm... years to figure out....
(granted I was using things like QuArK, ms paint, and umm... text based UV mapping proggies, and whatnot...)
but yeah, I finally 'really' figured it out in like, I dunno, 2003 when I found Argh's UV tutorial on FreeLancer, that just made alot more sense than the rest of the tutorials I had read... (I understood the theory of it all, and how it worked, but none of the proggies....)
