Strange bug while hosting a game (mapname.smd not found)

Post by Disease »

I've already hosted a few times without having any problems. But since yesterday I get a "map/folder xxx.smd (for example tangerine.smd) not found" message when I launch the game. On the other hand it worked with neurope.

Any idea how to fix that or why the hell this error appeared?
Thanks.

Do you have the map saved into the right directory? Do you still have .sd7 handling software - 7zip - installed? Have you redownloaded the map to check for possible corruption?

Of course they are in the right directory.
And no, I don't have 7zip - since when do you have to "extract" .sd7's in Spring? Nah, that doesn't make sense.
I doubt that the maps are corrupted, I've already played them a looooooooot.

Edit: Doh, forgot that I still had this account.
