I'm thinking we could have some musical exchange here! Always nice with a few tips.
What's your fav song/what are you listening too?
I'll start:
Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins - Handle with care

In the Coliseum, by Tom Waits. Probably my all-time favorite song, from an absolutely brilliant CD.
I also think that Twenty Eyes In My Head, by the Misfits, is also up there, just for sheer, over-the-top silliness, and reminds me of when Punk actually meant something for a minute, and wasn't just a fashion statement, but... er, nevermind. I'm getting old, dammit.
And I liked the Red Stripes, because they actually managed to make real Rock 'n Roll sell again, for a minute, and was very happy when Mexican Gangsta Rap finally hit the States- it's like regular rap, only I can't understand the lyrics, which makes it a lot more pleasant... and quite frankly, the blend of musical styles is a lot more interesting... if you're bored sometime, look up Molotov, an old-skool band from the 90's, they made some really cool stuff, kind've like the Gorillas, but less spaced-out...

Its not my favourite all time, but at the moment its a favourite. Its a good song. It made me like old hiphop like A Tribe Called Quest and Mos Def and De La Soul. I have likes in every spectrum of music. I like to keep an open mind.Comp1337 wrote:Ew.. C^HRape^H (its damn hard to spell)Muzic wrote:Aint no fun - Snoop Dog
