I dont remeber my dreams....it sucks :P. I've been trying to just fall asleep right. I usually only fall asleep after laying in my bed wide awake or on the couch after watching a couple hours of TV...at night.

I seldom sleep enough to have actualized dreams, but I do remember one after a few months in this dear community. I had a terrible fever, and my sleep was fitful - but within the wonderous caverns of my mind, I lived a campaign of E&E - commanding a URC army remotely and reclaiming regions of the surface through brutal ambushes and the use of sentient AI. I awoke after arguing with a Mammoth T3 Mech who reminded me a lot of Smoth spliced with Harrison Ford.

commondragon, its called lucid dreaming, dreaming while you're aware of dreaming and able to act independently of the dream.

It allows you to manipulate the dream however you wish within reason (that guy cant just appear out of thin air, he has to walk through a door on command or suddenly smash through a window or teleport in). Once you're aware you'r dreaming its simply a matter of will power to stop the dreaming carrying you off aimlessly as usual, which for most people happens automatically with little effort at all.

The more often it happens the more likely it will happen again.

I once played a video game where they made a console game system (in the game) which allowed people to have lucid dreams on command.

Pretty neat, huh?

Huh, i always remember my dreams, or at least parts of them. But i might forget them after 5 mins.

Well, sometimes when im sleeping in drunk, i might not see any dreams, or i just dont remember them.

Oh, and sometimes i see dreams which i cant understand when i have woked up o_O Which also causes that i cant remember it, because i cant understand it... Its fucking sick... the whole logic has became so weird in some of my dreams that its impossible to understand when woked up. But still, i understand the dream in the dream, i can remember understanding it, but when i try to remember it more, or understand it when woked up, i just cant :| my thoughts just reverses, because i cant get touch to the logic, because its not logical :S
Actually i can still see the memory of the dream when woked up (whole memory becomes one image (thats how my mind works)), but its like reading different language, which i cant do. And no, i cant draw that image... its just thoughts image, or should i say feelings "image". lol, hard to explain.

Ahhh so thats what my fav dreams are called. :-)
Being able to walk up to the hot busty blonde lady in my dreams and start getting kinky is great. :
The ones you cant control aren't as fun, instead of getting kinky, sometimes she gives me her number, I call it and it's dominoes pizza.
Doah! or should I say "dough!" ahahaha! errr....

Lucid dreaming is fun. Be careful though, like AF says, to not radically change your environment. I read on a website that if you close your eyes in a dream, imagine where you want to be, then spin around and open them, you will go there. Its bullshit. When you open your eyes you open your real eyes and you wake up. I ruined a really excellent lucid dream by doing that.

If you want to be in a forest, dont try and make yourself go to the forest, walk outside and put a forest there, or make a forest grow. If you want a hot chick, go 'Hey, that person looks a lot like a hot chick, you know what, it IS a hot chick.' (Try doing this to your male friends if they appear in your dreams- and enjoy the emotion scars and sexual confusion that results).

If you want to start lucid dreaming, it helps to look for 'dream triggers'. IE, things that tell you you are dreaming.

In my dreams, i can always fly. Usually i am like 'I knew it! I knew i could fly!' and am smugly satisfied, but nobody else really notices or cares. In fact, when i wake up i am usually very disappointed that i cannot actually fly.

Thats my trigger, when i start flying i go 'hey, dream' and i get control of it. Sadly, i dont fly as often in my dreams as i used to, i think my sub-concious is getting cluey. This is why i stopped with lucid dreaming.

My lucid dreams are awesome.

You ever blown an aliens brains out, taken over a few continents, worked your way up the ranks...

Damn, I love those dreams!

I either sleep for 5 seconds, waking up 8 hours later.

Half sleep for what seems me opening my eyes and dazing out for a few hours and finally sleeping only to relise 8 hours have past.

or actually dream.

My dreams are odd...Like the weirdest shit happens. One time i was in a distopyian future and the only way communication was on corded telephones that made the dial-up sound. Whats even weirder it continued into me running across train tracks and then eventually worrying that I was late for dinner then I went snowboarding but thats before it become some WoW scenario...Whats even weirder it seemed that it seamlessly fit togehter...

I cant recall details of dreams. I can dream in such great detail to the point where I wake up thinking it was real then go on the day being abit confused that it didn't happen. But I just can recall a dream if I had to explain it.
