i've already done and mpeg2 version as well as HD. i didnt upload those to youtube / uf as the filesize was too big. i'll try again and mess about with a few settings. (the two better quality versions cope with the transitions much more smoothly).
You just say that you release it under a license and link to it.
I would suggest the cc by-sa license
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ it would allow others to make changes to the video if needed but they would again have to allow others to do the same. (sa - share alike) and credit you for the original work (by - attribution).
Example would be:
"I release this video under the CC BY-SA license, I would like to be credited at the end of the video with my nickname 'Cabbage'."
Understand the idea? That's what you need to do to release something under a license.
And you don't have to upload the high definition video's to google video, "we" as the Spring project just like to have them around. What's the file size of the mpeg2 version without the music? (see remark below about the music)
If it's really large I might give you an ftp account to my domain so you can upload it there.

Yes that's right... I forgot about that.. cabbage you would have to remove the music from the high quality video's you release under a license as you can only license things that you made yourself.
