- Added auto zooming using scroll + Left ALT key (patch from colorblind)
Okay so Peet tells me this is hard coded :evil: !!!RAWR!!! can we get this changed plz, its far better than TAB view imo and i really want it shifted to INS if possible :lol: okay well at least the power to have it changed on my comp anyways :!:

I also resets the camera angle to OTA, whereas I always rotate my camera to point straight down at a 90 degree angle.

On the topic of camera issues...the OTA view in recent SVN builds can zoom straight through any ground that is above the lowest height on the map, and it is *highly* annoying. The zoom also seems to have been made superfast, since just a few mousewheel clicks sends me through the ground.

It's instant max/min zoom. If you want to zoom (or move the cam) faster, hold shift down instead.

well yeah thats what i normaly use, but the alt autozoom key seems far more pleasing to use as its not jumpy and is smoothed out as i zoom in/out. I have been using shift for some time n it is usefull but god damn how hard would it be to make it free for edit in the uikeys??

No idea. Supposedly Trep has a patch for it but hasn't committed that yet.

ah good, i know about his camera work; seems such a waist for this zoom feature to be hard coded stuck...i keep my fingers crossed! tnx for the info all :-)
