Yes, BAD spelling is annoying. But start complaing when something is unreadbole, or l33t.But bad spelling is even more annoying!
y0 \/\/@z |_|pp |\/|y |-|0|\/|3z? i ar s0 l33t! omfg ta sring suxxor duuude! lallalalallalal monkeys are funkty!
Now you can complain all you want, but if i spell spell speell, shut up.
I'm not a rabid poster, I just have a lot to say, and there are a lot of things to say things about.
And yes, I find moaning about bad spelling is more annoying than the misspellings themselves.
The advantages of correct spelling have been pointed out many times, if you have a problem with bad spelling then dont say ought, there's no need to express an opinion when hudnreds have already done so.

Mongus, find one instance of Spam by me.
And while you're looking, try to get my name right.
As for the spelling, the major culprits don't take note, and don't change the way they communicate, and then wonder why everyone ignores them, or doesn't take them seriously (like my spam-accusing friend here).
I wish moderators would do more to enforce the need to communicate understandibly. Writing illegibly is the same as trying to conduct a conversation while drunk.
