512mb Spring community installer.
Most of us tech savy people here probably have small flash drives in our key changes ranging from 512-2024mB's. My suggestion is that we all band together and make a 512mb Community Installer. It could be put on CD's to give out to friends and on our flash drives to easily distribute to local computers.
What it would include would be basically EVERY mod + regular installer stuff. And we could include maps which are usually played. And theres over 300mb's left of space which we could use for maps. It would make getting started at spring a whole lot easier. Instead of guiding your buddies on how to do everything at first using that barebone regular installer.

This is a good idea but I think the game's not mature enough yet. There are only a small handful of release-quality mods, and their content changes frequently.
If there could be a basic resource package that most mods draw on, while only including changed/additional content, that would still help a lot though.
...Trouble is, we've already got it. otacontent.sdz.
